The disc uses a J-weight cloth backing that provides wear resistance while allowing the disc to conform to slightly contoured surfaces.

The precision-shaped grain fractures to form new cutting edges during wear, producing consistent abrasive action and extended service life.

An anti-static treatment helps neutralise charge on swarf, and the multi-hole extraction pattern is intended to be used with a vacuum system to reduce dust and loading.

It is designed for use with 3M hook-and-loop and adhesive-backed PSA mounting methods and with appropriately matched back-up pads.
