It combines aluminium oxide mineral with a specialised ceramic-shaped grain to deliver consistent cutting on carbon steel, stainless steel and nickel/chromium alloys. Supplied in packs, it is intended for use on guarded angle grinders in industrial settings where controlled material removal and weld blending are required.

Features & Benefits

• 40 grit enables aggressive stock removal and Rapid metal shaping
• Resin bond offers Durable abrasive life under heavy load
• Polyester backing with fibreglass hub gives stable support during use
• Centre hole 22.23mm ensures secure mounting on compatible grinders
• Available in Type27 and Type29 forms for varied grinding angles

Applications

• Suitable for weld removal and preparation on steel structures
• Ideal for deburring and edge chamfering in fabrication
• Used for surface blending on stainless components in production
• Can be used for metal preparation prior to coating or painting
• Suitable for repetitive grinding tasks in mechanical workshops

What substrate composition is the abrasive suited to?

The mineral mix combines aluminium oxide with a precision-shaped ceramic grain formulation, optimised for carbon steel, stainless steel and nickel/chromium-based alloys.

How should packs be stored to maintain performance?

Retain items in their original packaging and store at about 16°C to 26°C with 35 to 50% relative humidity

follow first-in first-out rotation to reduce shelf-life loss.

Are there specific tool safeguards recommended during use?

The product must be used on guarded tools and the fibreglass support plate must not be trimmed to avoid risk of injury.
