RS PRO Grey Tough PLA 3D Printer Filament, 1 kg, 1.75 mm


Make durable 3D models and structures with this grey polylactic acid (PLA) printer filament from RS PRO. It's used in business and home applications, from model-making to engineering and aviation. The filament comes in a 1 kg spool that you can drop into place inside your 3D printer.

PLA-X3 is engineered for fast printing (greater than 120 mm/s), saving you time. It has high impact resistance so it's hardwearing and it's made from renewable resources meaning it's friendly to the environment.

This material gives a clean look after printing thanks to its semi-matte finish. Printed objects made from PLA-X3 can tolerate temperatures of more than +95°C after annealing (heat treatment), which makes them more durable. The filament is not machine specific, so you can use it in most common fused deposition modelling (FDM) printing devices for greater flexibility.
