The UNIFIX VORTEX's 5X40 TX woodscrew are zinc and yellow wax coated, that makes the screw easier to drive in, and increases the lifetime of the product. It reduces the likelihood of shearing the head of the screw, whilst assisting the completion of countersinking and making it more reliable. It is quickly and easily power through the surface, and can be used on a range of material including hardwood, decking, MDF, plastic and sheet metal.
