The ROHM LDO regulator provides a fixed 5 V output voltage with a maximum output current of 0.3 A and an output accuracy of ±2% over a temperature range of -40 to 125 °C. It comes in an HTSOP-J8 package and includes built-in over-current protection to prevent damage from short circuits. The device features a current ON/OFF switch for zero current consumption in shutdown mode and a thermal shutdown circuit for overheating protection. It supports ceramic capacitors, enabling smaller designs and extended lifespan.
