The Microchip Technology SOIP package, surface mount 14-pin USB bridge microcontroller has a voltage rating ranging between 3V and 5.5V. This device reduces external components by integrating the USB termination resistors and the oscillator needed for USB operation. It is a USB-to-UART/I2C serial converter that enables USB connectivity in applications that have a UART and I2C interfaces.
