The NewLink USB 3.1 active extension cable allows you to exceed the maximum distance of the USB C specification by 5mtrs. The cable only works in one direction, at the PC end it has a male USB type C connector and at the device end it has a female USB Type C socket as well as a power socket. The extender is supplied with a 5V, 2A external power supply.
