Alpha Wire Alpha Essentials Communication & Control Series Data Cable, 13 Pairs, 0.08 mm², 305 m, Slate Sheath

This data cable is a multi-pair communication cable designed for industrial control and signal transmission in automation and electrical systems. It combines 13 twisted pairs of tin‑plated copper conductors within a shielded assembly and a slate-coloured outer jacket to provide organised multi-signal routing and protection in installations requiring extended continuous lengths.

Each pair uses nominal polyethylene insulation with standard colour coding and is cabled two conductors per pair with controlled pair and overall twists to maintain pair integrity.

The assembly includes aluminium/mylar tape with a drain conductor Plus a tinned-copper braid at a minimum 90% coverage to present a low-resistance shield for earthing and improved common-mode noise rejection.

The cable is offered in continuous lengths on reels including 100m, 500m and 1000ft/305m options to support long installation runs.

The cable has a recommended minimum bend radius of 10x the cable diameter and a maximum pull tension of 46 lb to avoid conductor or jacket damage.
