RS PRO Thickness Meter, 0.3 mm (Probe N), 0.5 mm (Probe F) - 1350 μm (Probe F & Probe N), LCD Display
Measure the coatings on your surfaces with this thickness meter from RS PRO. It's suitable for testing non-magnetic coatings like paint or zinc on steel, as well as insulating coatings on non-ferrous metals.
The meter uses an alternating current to generate an electromagnetic field and any disruptions to this caused by your surfaces will be recorded. This non-destructive testing method protects your equipment and structures from damage. The probe's results are displayed on an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen, which is clear and easy to read even in low-light situations.
You can transfer your data easily to a computer via USB and the meter has memory for up to 1500 readings, making it a convenient device. It's an ideal solution for engineering applications, as well as laboratories and automotive workshops.
