Snap action bi-metallic disc operates an SPST contact which is electrically isolated from the mounting bracket.
All types reset when the temperature falls to nominally 15° below operating temperature.

You can connect this switch to a thermostat using its solder tab terminal. Simply insert pre-stripped connecting wires through the holes on the terminal and use a soldering iron to securely attach them.
