RS PRO Black Nitrile Rubber Insulation Roll, 11 m2 x 1000 mm x 13 mm
This rubber insulation roll from RS PRO lets you insulate objects that could be damaged by fluctuations in temperature. It maintains a steady temperature to reduce heat loss and prevent freezing, preserving the contents of your containers. It can also help to absorb sound and reduce the noise of the flow in your home or workplace.
For excellent insulation properties, the roll has a low thermal conductive capacity. Its high water vapour permeability minimises the risk of water damage and mould growth by preventing condensation. As the nitrile rubber material is chemical-resistant, it's suitable for insulating containers holding oils, fuels and other harsh substances.
The insulation comes in a convenient 11 m2, making it easy to cut down to insulate a range of objects. It's a good choice for insulating larger objects, including storage tanks, ducting and grounded pipework.
