FLUKE Test Probes, Adjustable Tip Length, 10A Current Rating - TP175E
Need to take accurate readings of the current, voltage and resistance of your circuits and devices? These test probes from FLUKE are just the job. The extendable sheaths allow you to adjust the tip length between 4 and 19mm, making these a versatile choice to carry in your toolkit. The sheaths also keep the exposed area small, preventing arcs and protecting you from the risk of burns. A simple twist of the top of the probe body adjusts the tip exposure.
Features & Benefits
• Widely compatible, fitting any instruments that use 4mm shrouded banana plugs
• CAT II 1000V, CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V certified for optimal safety
• Yellow rotating barrel shows the correct category rating for the length of tip you're using
• Wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +55°C for use in harsh industrial conditions
Applications
• Electrical engineering
• Circuit boards
• Testing and maintenance
How do I connect the probes to my multimeter?
You'll need some test leads suitable for the category rating you're using. For example, for CAT III, use FLUKE's TL27 heavy-duty test lead kit (850-7697).
Fluke TP175 and TL175 TwistGuard Test Probes
Brought to you by Fluke, TwistGuard Test Leads are the only test leads available with adjustable length test tips for use in different measurement environments. Twisting the test lead changes the exposed probe tip length from 19 mm to 4 mm. All models are highly reliable and excellent quality.
Features & Benefits
• Patented twist top test probes to extend or reduce tip exposure
• Probes always show correct category rating for tip exposure being used
• Includes removable 4 mm lantern tips
• Compatible with all instruments that accept standard 4 mm shrouded banana plugs
• EN61010-031 safety ratings CAT III 1000 V, CAT IV 600 V, CAT II 1000 V, 10 A max
What are test leads?
These leads are connecting cables which are used specifically for Multimeters, attaching a test probe to the end will allow the user to measure the required voltage, current or electrical resistance. As it assists operation with a multimeter, at least two of these types of electrical values are measured.
What are test probes?
Connecting to Fluke multimeters, a set of test probes will measure the device or target for an accurate reading, such as voltage or current. Due to the flexibility and quality produced by Fluke, each probe provides much-needed precision.
