Eaton British Standard Fuse, gG Application Category, Bolted Tag Type - DD125


To make sure electrical hazards can't throw a spanner in your works, install this British Standard fuse from Eaton. It's B2 sized, so you can use it with voltages up to 415V AC. An application category of gG means it's designed for general-purpose use, and you can rest assured your equipment is safe from low and high overloads as well as short circuits. What are the different types of fuses?


This fuse is a gG fuse, meaning it's suitable for general-purpose use, can cope with low overload currents and clear high short-circuit faults. gFF fuses will blow more quickly. gR fuses provide some overload protection but will blow more slowly in the event of a short circuit. aM fuses are designed to cope with a high inrush current, making them suitable for protecting electric motors. When a fast reaction is needed, aR fuses are on hand to clear a major fault in milliseconds.
