Siemens 3NA3 Series Nh Fuse, 355A Current, 500V Voltage - 3NA3254

This NH fuse provides low-voltage high rupturing capacity protection for industrial electrical installations. It is designed as an NH2-size HRC link with blade contacts and front Visual indication, to interrupt fault currents in AC and DC systems up to its rated voltages. The device is intended for use with non-insulated grip lug mounting and offers clear live-grip handling for maintenance and replacement in switchgear and distribution panels.

Features and Benefits:

• 120kA breaking capacity for AC offers robust fault interruption
• 25kA breaking capacity for DC supports fast fault clearing
• 355A rated current reduces oversized conductor requirements
• 26W power loss at rated current limits thermal stress
• IP20 protection with connected conductors improves safety

Applications

• Suitable for industrial low-voltage distribution boards
• Used with switchgear requiring blade-type HRC protection
• Ideal for systems needing AC and DC voltage coverage
• Can be used for routine fuse replacement in panels
• Suitable for maritime and other specialised installations

What temperature range can it operate within?

It functions between -5°C and +40°C ambient during operation with specified humidity categories.

How is the fuse mounted and handled safely?

It uses non-insulated grip lugs and a live grip design for manual insertion and removal.

What electrical ratings cover AC and DC systems?

The device is rated for 500V AC and 440V DC with corresponding breaking capacities.

How does the Visual indicator communicate fuse condition?

A front-mounted identification indicator provides a visible status cue for faulted links.
