FC Series Super capacitors, also known as Electric Double-Layer Capacitors (EDLCs), are surface mount type components intended for high energy storage applications. The FC Series is designed specifically for reflow soldering, allowing them to be attached to a printed circuit board (PCB) directly.

Applications
Super capacitors have characteristics ranging from traditional capacitors and batteries. As a result, Super capacitors can be used like a secondary battery when applied in a DC circuit. These devices are best suited for use in low voltage DC hold-up applications such as embedded microprocessor systems with flash memory.
