Clifford & Snell Strobe Light Amber Sounder Beacon, 24V DC, YL40 Series - YL40/D50/A/RN/WR

Install this Clifford & Snell sounder beacon to warn of dangerous situations in commercial and industrial settings. The beacon projects a highly visible strobe light via a long-lasting and energy-efficient Xenon bulb. The amber ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and polycarbonate lens is fire-retardant and shock-resistant to withstand use in harsh environments. As the integrated sounder emits a maximum volume of 108dB (decibels) at a 1m distance, it's easy to hear even in large, busy environments.

Features & Benefits

• Wide operating temperature range of -35°C to +70°C for use in extreme environments

• IP65 (ingress protection) rating means it's protected from dust and low-pressure water jets for use in damp or dirty settings

• Choice of 32 different tones for maximum versatility

Applications

• Security systems

• Power control panels

• Assembly factories

• Fire safety

What's the advantage of a Xenon bulb over an LED bulb?

A Xenon bulb is powered via a gas and electric arc, which creates a brighter glow than an LED (light-emitting diode) bulb. This ensures good visibility in a variety of lighting conditions.
