Most Measurement codes of practice and legislative guides demand that an independent acoustic calibration of any sound level meter should be made before and after a series of measurements and the Castle dBCal Calibrators provide just that facility. They all produce a calibration tone of 1kHz at levels of 94dB, 104dB or 114dB at the microphone. They are designed to fit standard 1/2” microphones. These calibrators fully comply with IEC60942:2019
