RS PRO Electric Soldering Iron, 220 V, 50 W, for use with 161-1962 Soldering Stations
You can use this electric soldering iron from RS PRO with 161-1962 soldering stations. A soldering iron is a handheld tool you can use to transfer heat to soldering tips. The heated tips melt the solder wire and provide a flow of molten alloy for fusing two components together.
This soldering iron has an insulated handle that protects you from burning yourself when using it. This also provides a firm grip, helping to stop the iron from sliding out of your hand as you work. You'll get rapid heat distribution to the soldering tip and wire through the product's four-core heater, which ensures an even solder spread that's less likely to flake or crack. The iron's stainless steel casing is resistant to fire, heat and oxidation, which makes it hardy and protects it from external damage.
You'll find this tool easy to handle, store and transport as it weighs only 90 g. You can use the iron with a soldering station with operating temperatures between +200°C and +480°C.
