Weller Soldering Accessory Soldering Iron Cleaning Sponge, for use with Iron Holders

Introducing Weller’s replacement cleaning sponge, ideal for removing excess solder from the tip of your soldering iron. It's vitally important to clean the tip of the iron as it may not heat up properly adding extra time to your job.

The sponge holds water and the rubbing a hot soldering iron on a wet sponge causes the solder to contract to enable it to easily knock off that are clinging to the tip. It is compatible with a number of Weller Safety Rests.
