RS PRO 0.7 mm Lead Solder, +183°C Melting Point
This solder from our trusted RS PRO range is a tin and lead alloy designed to create a solid bond in electronic components like printed circuit boards (PCBs). It contains a water-soluble flux to clean metal surface residues before and after soldering, so you don't have to purchase an additional solvent for the purpose.
The product's excellent wetting action and spread create a solid join between the solder and your intended surface. Its mix of tin and lead provides you with a strong join with excellent tensile strength. This solder can withstand prolonged exposure to heat without decomposing or carbonising, ensuring it won't burn away during the soldering process.
A water-soluble flux is a high-activation solvent, which means you can remove all contaminants with a simple clean after the soldering process. You can use this lead solder on printed circuit boards (PCBs) contained in things like medical equipment and computers.
