The Microchip Touchscreen Sensor IC connects to an Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) glass touchscreen via a flexible printed circuit (FPC). The touchscreen includes an integrated ITO shield layer for enhanced noise immunity and performance. The kit comes with self-adhesive feet for convenient desk or bench use. Alternatively, the assembly can be mounted to a suitable display for on-screen performance evaluation.
