The STMicroelectronics Authentication & Brand protection secure solution is a system‑on‑chip designed to provide authentication and data management services to a local host. Its primary role is to ensure that peripherals or consumables can be reliably authenticated, allowing the host to distinguish between authorized and unauthorized devices. Authentication is achieved through Ed25519 digital signatures, with each chip carrying a unique private key securely loaded at STs personalization centre.
