RS PRO Stainless Steel 2,475-Piece Star Drive Screw/Bolt, Nut & Washer Kit
The RS PRO Star screw/bolt, nut and washer kit contains 2,475 A2 (304) stainless steel fasteners. It includes Star-head machine screws, washers and hex nuts in a range of metric thread sizes from M3 through to M6 size.
Star-head screws offer a greater level of security and are used to prevent tampering. The Star -drive design allows screws to be tightened as far as possible without the tool slipping out. The screws are supplied in five lengths ranging from 6 mm to 25 mm. You'll find two different head types – pan, which has a raised, domed head that sits above the material surface, and countersunk (flat), which is fastened into a countersunk hole so the head sits flush with the material surface.
The screws, nuts and washers are made of corrosion-resistant type A2 (304) stainless steel and are commonly used in the automotive, electronics and construction industries.
