A2 Stainless Steel Flat Head Hexagonal Socket Screw Kit
From the trusted RS PRO brand comes this set of high-quality flat head hexagonal socket screws. Socket screws have a cylindrical head and an internal hex drive and are tightened using an Allan or Hex key, making them ideal for use in applications where externally wrenched fasteners are not practical because of a lack of space. Flat-headed socket screws provide a more flush finish with the material as there is no extrusion past the surface of the screw head.
In this kit, you will find a range of 410 socket screws with flat heads and hexagonal sockets for hex or Allan keys. This kit includes screws with thread sizes of M3, M4, M5 and M6, and screw lengths of 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm.
Features and Benefits
Applications
The impressive strength of A2 stainless steels makes it a versatile component material that can withstand wear and tear. Compared to ordinary fasteners, fewer socket screws of the same size can achieve an equal clamping force in a joint. As fewer screws are required for a given job, fewer holes are required to be drilled and tapped, as well as reducing the overall project weight as fewer, smaller screws are used. The cylindrical heads of socket screws also need less space than hex heads and require no additional wrench space, allowing for more precise and streamlined construction.
