Honeywell Straight Cable Switch, 2NO/2NC, 76 m - 1CPS Series -1CPSA2

This Honeywell cable switch provides vital emergency-stop protection on exposed conveyors and assembly lines. It's designed to handle cable runs of up to 76 metres and is a more efficient alternative to using multiple emergency-stop push buttons. The double-latched internal mechanism (push and pull) prevents cables from slacking or breaking over time. For ease of installation, a midpoint cable tension window indicates the correct cable tension. Once the contacts have been switched, you'll need to reset the cable to the correct tension by manually rotating a knob.

This cable switch is ideal for use in warehouses or distribution centres, where operating systems can experience high vibration or large temperature swings. The straight-mounted device is also suited to conveyor systems where easy through-wiring or highly visible trip status is required.

Honeywell 1CPS Cable Pull Safety Switches

The 1CPS cable pull safety switch series is intended for applications such as conveyor runs within a defined system zone with a cable run of up to 76 meters. This means they are more cost effective than using a comparable multiple emergency stop push button system.

The internal mechanism is latched by both a push and pull action. This provides extra protection should the cable become slackened or broken over time. A midpoint cable tension window indicates the correct cable tension making it easy to set up. Once the contacts have been switched they must be reset by resetting the cable to the correct tension level and manually rotating the rest knob.

For extra protection a set of auxiliary contacts are switched when the main contact open allowing for monitoring or signalling equipment to be activated such as a flashing beacon. The auxiliary contacts are electrically isolated form the direct acting switch contacts meaning a closed circuit can be maintained even when the main contacts are in the open position.
