This contrast sensor detects differences between mark and background for automation tasks in industrial environments. It uses an LED light source with selectable wavelengths and offers teach-in modes for static or dynamic threshold setting. The unit is ruggedly sealed for harsh surroundings and connects via an M12 5-pin male connector for straightforward integration into control systems.
