A relay is an electrical switch that is operated by electrical pulses, their primary function is to open and close a circuit. When power passes through a circuit, a relay switches position (usually from NC to NO) using an internal coil which generates a magnetic force. This force then holds the relay in a NO position, when the current is switched off the relay returns to the NC position. This function is what makes these non-latching relays perfect for push-button applications such as keyboards and micro-controller input buttons.

RXM miniature relays are part of Harmony Electromechanical Relays. This is a plug in relay to be mounted on a RXZE socket. It is a 2 C/O relay with current rating of 12A, control circuit voltage of 24 V DC. It also offers a mechanical indicator where an orange flag indicates the relay contact status. A green LED on the front will illuminate when the relay is on. Its design is fit for industrial machines, packaging, textile, HVAC, automation control panels, low/medium voltage switchgear, motor controls, PLC Interfaces, power supplies, building or medical equipment, lighting controls. RXM Relay should be used with a RXZE socket (screw clamp, screw connector, push-in terminal). To protect against vibrations, plastic/metal clamp can be added to the socket.
