The STMicroelectronics Evaluation Board is a three phase inverter based on power MOSFETs, designed to provide a complete evaluation of the triple half bridge gate driver. The power stage adopts a single shunt topology, with current sensing and overcurrent protection implemented through an embedded operational amplifier and comparator. Additional integrated protections, such as under voltage lockout (UVLO) on the driving voltage and VDS monitoring for each power MOSFET, ensure safe and reliable operation of the power stage. This makes the board an effective platform for testing and validating Advanced motor control solutions.

One embedded operational amplifier and one comparator for current sensing and overcurrent detection
One additional comparator for hardware thermal protection based on external NTC
Thermal shutdown and VDS monitoring
