RS PRO 2 m Power Cable, C15, IEC to NEMA 5-15P, US Plug
Need to connect a C15 male socket to a standard US socket? This power cable from the RS PRO range will do just that while providing two metres of extension. The female C15 connector, known as a kettle plug, is used for high-temperature applications.
Sheathed in black PVC for flexibility and durability, the 3-core cable has a wire size of 18AWG. The moulded plug and socket take the strain off the connection, meaning the cable assembly lasts longer. It's voltage rated at 125 V and current rated at 15 A.
The power cable has been tested as a safe and effective coupling cord. It meets international standards including CSA STD C22.2 No. 1-25 on cord sets and supply cords, CSA STD C22.2 No. 182.3-M1987 on special-use attachment plugs, receptacles and connectors and ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 on electrostatic discharge. It contains only minimal levels of hazardous substances (RoHS).
