Festo MS Pneumatic Filter, 1/2 inches Port Size, 0.01 μm Filtration Size - MS6-LFM-1/2-AUV-DA, Numeric Part Number:536883

This pneumatic filter is a Compact inline device designed to condition compressed Air for industrial automation systems. It removes fine particulates to protect downstream components and is suitable for use across electrical, electronics and mechanical installations where controlled Air quality and temperature resilience are required.

Features and Benefits:

• 900 L/min flow capacity enables high-volume Air delivery
• 12 bar maximum pressure allows demanding pneumatic circuits
• 0.01 μm Fibre filtration removes extremely fine contaminants
• Wrought aluminium alloy bowl reduces weight while resisting corrosion
• Automatic and manual drain options enable flexible condensate handling
• NBR sealing ensures compatibility with common compressed Air media

Applications

• Suitable for servo valve Air supply filtration in automation panels
• Ideal for conditioning Air to pneumatic actuators in assembly lines
• Used with instrument Air systems requiring fine particulate removal
• Can be used for Air preparation on test rigs operating up to 60 °C
• Used for protecting solenoid valves in electrical control cabinets

What port size should I prepare for installation?

The unit connects via a 1/2 in G threaded port, compatible with standard G-thread fittings.

How does temperature affect operation limits?

It is rated for continuous use between −10 °C and 60 °C without altering performance specifications.

Are there environmental or material limitations for selection?

The bowl is MADE from wrought aluminium alloy and the Seals are NBR, select accordingly for aggressive chemical exposure.

How is condensate removal managed for unmanned sites?

An automatic drain function handles routine condensate release while a manual drain provides service access.
