Looking for a reliable way to regulate the flow of viscous liquid or potentially contaminated compressed air in a rigid piping system? This angle seat valve from Festo offers a robust, low-maintenance solution that is suitable for high-viscosity media up to 600 mm²/s. It maximises the flow rate without the need for any pressure differential. The valve is pneumatically actuated with a 'normally closed' (NC) default position, so there's no need to worry about flow continuing if air pressure is lost.
The seat seal is made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) – a hard-wearing material with high thermal resistance that allows the valve to operate at temperatures between -40°C and +200°C. The stainless-steel housing provides durability and high resistance to corrosion.
