The SKF SY design short base pillow block ball bearing units consist of an insert bearing mounted in a housing which can be bolted to support surface. The insert bearing unit has 35mm inside diameter and 164mm overall length. It is based on sealed deep groove ball bearings in the 62 and 63 series but have a convex outer ring and in most cases an extended inner ring with a specific locking device, enabling quick and easy mounting onto the shaft.
