The MikronTec limit thread plug gauge have a Go and a No-Go side. The go side must be able to be screwed in threads/threaded holes by hand without applying any force, whereas the No-Go side, which is indicated in red, must not fit in the test item. These gauges are used to check whether the actual thread of a test item is within a specified target range.
