It has four analogue inputs to receive data from sensing equipment, such as potentiometers and pressure sensors, for transmission to your CPU. It's designed to boost the capabilities of Modicon M221, M241 and M251 processors so it's flexible and supports wide functionality. When installed vertically, this module has an operating temperature range between -10°C and +35°C, while mounting horizontally will extend the upper limit to +55°C.
