Schneider Electric Momentum Series Adapter for Use with Modicon Control and Distributed I/O System

This adaptor is part of the Modicon Momentum range, an offer of controller and IP20 monoblock I/Os for distributed control architecture. The Interbus communication adaptor supports ring topology. It offers twisted pair cable transmission support medium and 500kbps data transmission rate. The adaptor is accessible through the continuous shift register and master/slave method. It is furnished with 2 D-sub (DE-09) connectors for connecting Interbus. It is an IP20 rated product. It weighs 0.07kg. The Schneider Electric Interbus Communication Adaptor is designed for twisted pair communication, employing a ring topology. This adaptor supports a range of 0 to 254 devices per segment, with a maximum cable distance between devices of 12,800 meters and 400 meters between two modules. In case of a failure, it operates in a fail safe mode. The control parameter is maintained using CRC 16. The adaptor is powered from the IO base and is marked with a CE designation. Local signalling is facilitated through three LEDs one green LED for bus enable, one for remote bus check and another for remote bus disabled.
