OSI SPOT Series Segmented Photodiodes

The SPOT Series of common substrate photodiodes, from OSI Optoelectronics, are segmented into separate active areas with a well defined 0.127mm gap between adjacent elements. SPOT Series photodiodes have a spectral response range of 350-1100nm; Notch or band pass filters can be added to achieve specific spectral responses.

Position information can be obtained when the light spot diameter is larger than the spacing between cells.

High Accuracy

Position resolutions of better than 0.1μm

Fast response times suitable for high speed or pulse operation

Ultra Low Dark Current

Excellent Response Match

High Stability over Time and Temperature

Applications include: Machine Tool Alignment, Position Measuring, Beam Centring, Surface Profiling and Targeting Guidance Systems
