The 3M series of MIL IDC Plugs and Sockets are designed to be extremely durable and of the highest quality. All models conform to the MIL specifications and would be intended for ribbon cable applications.

The pins are shrouded to prevent bending and ensure reliable wire connections. There's a simple mechanism for latching and ejecting the header, so it's easy to use. Made from glass-filled nylon, the component body is mechanically strong and durable.
