What's the difference between a type J and type K thermocouple?


While a type J thermocouple is made of iron and constantan, a type K thermocouple is made of chrome and alumel for enhanced resistance to corrosion and acids.

These Keysight U1240 Series handheld digital multimeters are the latest in the Series and have distinctive orange casing. The U1241B ( 699-7357 ) and U1242B ( 699-7351 ) are typical of the series in that they enable users to check more with wider measurement ranges.
