RS PRO Single Phase DOL Starter, 240 V, 2.2 kW, IP55
Choose this RS PRO DOL (direct-on-line) starter if you're looking for a reliable way to initialise a motor. Using this starter allows you to connect the motor's coil directly to the power supply, providing 100% of its starting torque immediately.
The starter has an IP55 rating, so it's protected against dust and can withstand low-pressure water jets. This means it's well-suited for installation in demanding environments, such as factories and workshops. There's no risk of the starter being damaged by overheating after a short circuit, as it's fitted with a thermal overload.
For easy activation, the starter is manually operated. It's ideal for smaller motors in water pumps, fans and conveyor belts. Engineers have rigorously tested this part for safety and reliability.
