Siemens SIRIUS Soft Starter, 30kW, 63A - 3RW40 Series - 3RW4037-1BB04
Use this Siemens SIRIUS soft starter for the soft starting and stopping of 3-phase asynchronous motors. It features a 2-phase control that maintains minimum current values all the way through startup. Soft starting reduces start-up torque, which means less stress on your motor and protects the mains supply from line-voltage dips and current peaks. This starter includes integrated diagnostic functions and adjustable trip classes. It provides your system with motor overload and intrinsic device protection without the need for additional wiring.
• Innovative control principle means this is the only starter to work across the entire power range from 5.5kW (with 400V) to 250kW (with 400V)
• Certified for starting explosion-proof motors in hazardous areas
• Wide operating temperature range of -25°C up to +60°C for use in demanding industrial atmospheres
