RS PRO 7.5 kW DOL Starter, 400 V ac, 3 Phase, IP65
This direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter from our trusted RS PRO range reduces the current required when starting up induction motors, especially those rated below 5 hp.
This DOL starter is a 7.5 kW automatic 3-phase starter. You might like to fit it with an overload protection device that will help prevent problems from short-circuiting or overheating. This model doesn't include an overload, so you would need to select one from the RF38 series – for example, stock no. 685-130 – to match the full-load current of your motor.
The starter is used generally used in motor-driven applications, such as workshop machinery, large fans and water pumps. It also has a moulded plastic case with IP65 ingress protection, so it has reliable shielding against dust and high-pressure water jets from any direction.
