Murata KCM Series Metal Terminal Automotive Monolithic Ceramic Chip Capacitors


KCM series chip monolithic (MLCC) automotive capacitors with increased reliability for thermal and mechanical stress. These KCM series MLCC automotive capacitors have metal pins with an elastic action which reduces the impact on the capacitor of PCB flexure caused by Sharp temperature changes and mechanical impact in automotive applications. Space saving and high capacitance is achieved by two capacitors being stacked on TOP of one another and acoustic noise caused by ceramic vibration is reduced. Applications for these KCM automotive MLCC capacitors include power supply circuits (eg DC-DC converters in engine control units) and automotive applications including conventional vehicles as well as electric (EV) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEV)
