The Microchip Technology RS-485 extension-board is ideal for evaluation and prototyping applications involving RS485/422. It belongs to the Atmel Xplained Pro series of small-sized and easy-to-use evaluation kits for Atmel AVR 8- and 32-bit microcontrollers and SoC RF modules. It consists of a series of low-cost MCU and wireless boards for evaluation and demonstration of features and capabilities of different MCU and/wireless families. It is compatible with all the Xplained Pro EXT headers.
