Honeywell Roller Plunger Microswitch, 15A at 480V AC, Polybutylene Terephthalate - BZ Series - BZ-2RQ18M-A2

Protect your electrical connection from damage with this Honeywell microswitch. The roller wheel at the top runs along a conveyer and pushes the plunger actuator down when it touches a contact. The plunger then creates a reciprocating motion that triggers the limit switch, safely turning the current off until the plunger is brought back up. This compact microswitch is designed to handle a maximum current rating of 15A at 480V AC (alternating current), making it a good choice for use in low-current applications.

Features & Benefits

• Screw terminal ensures a secure connection

• Long mechanical life of up to 10 million operations for long-lasting performance

• Tough polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) case material protects against shocks, vibration and rough handling

• Silver contacts resist corrosion for a reliable connection

• Broad operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C for use in demanding environments

• Water heaters

• Domestic appliances

• Emergency stop controls

• Door releases

• Timing devices

How much force does this microswitch need to operate?
