The 3M Polyester Tape 8905 is a highly durable option for masking in high-temperature applications. Its tear-resistant translucent blue backing enables easy positioning. Coated with a silicone adhesive, it excels in masking for powder coating, ensuring sharp paint lines. It removes cleanly and in one piece from most surfaces, preventing slivering and breaking. With excellent chemical resistance, it's suitable for use in chemical processes and demanding conditions like anodization. The pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive functions effectively across a broad temperature range from -50°C to 204°C.
