Telemecanique Sensors 9007 Series Limit Switch, IP67, Zinc Housing - 9007C54B2

This limit switch is a Compact mechanical sensor designed to detect position changes in industrial systems and provide electrical switching for control circuits. Housed in a corrosion-resistant zinc enclosure with a lever actuator, it is suited to harsh environments and continuous use where reliable contact changeover is required. The unit connects via screw-clamp terminals and is intended for integration with automation, electrical and mechanical equipment.

Features and Benefits:

• IP67 ingress protection enables use in wet conditions
• 1NO1NC contact arrangement supports versatile circuit control
• Rated for 600 VDC switching at up to 10 A to handle high-voltage loads
• Conduit entry of 0.5 in NPT allows standard conduit connection
• Mechanical life of 10,000,000 cycles reduces maintenance frequency
• Operates between -29°C and +85°C for wide temperature applications

Applications

• Suitable for limit detection on conveyor systems in manufacturing
• Ideal for end-of-travel sensing in electro-mechanical actuators
• Used with motor control panels as a position interlock device
• Can be used for safety monitoring in material handling equipment

How are electrical connections MADE to this device?

Connections are secured using screw-clamp terminals that accept threaded conductors for a robust electrical interface.

What material is the enclosure constructed from and why does that matter?

The enclosure is manufactured from zinc which provides mechanical durability and resistance to impact in industrial settings.

What contact configurations are available and how do they affect wiring?

The unit provides one normally open and one normally closed contact so you can wire it for either make-or-break signal requirements.

Does the switch meet any hazardous area certification requirements?

It does not carry hazardous area certification and should be installed only in non-classified environments.

Which environmental standards does the product comply with?

It conforms to REACH and RoHS requirements for restricted substances and material composition.
