Honeywell Plunger Limit Switch, NO/NC, 10A - GLC Series - GLCB01B

Mount this limit switch from Honeywell to your machine as a simple way to turn your electrical connection on and off. The switch is made up of three components: an actuator head for contacting the connection, a switch body for turning the current on or off and a terminal for wiring and fixing in place. The component's plunger-type actuator creates a reciprocating motion when pushed down that in turn triggers the switch. Its compact dimensions of 68.5 (length) x 30.5 (width) x 26.35mm (depth) allow for installation in areas where space is limited.

Features & Benefits

• Switching contacts have a snap-action mechanism for efficient and reliable current switching

• Supports a maximum torque of 16N to ensure a secure fitting

• Long lifespan of up to 15 million mechanical operations for reliable performance

• Three-component modular design means the device is simple to adjust and maintain

• Die-cast zinc housing for durability and resistance to impact

Applications

• Transportation equipment

• Commercial appliances

• Agricultural equipment

• Machine tools

How does this limit switch ensure the current is off?

The single pole double throw (SPDT) contacts on this limit switch are galvanically isolated to prevent direct conduction paths and ensure currents are completely off.
