Omron D4n Series Roller Limit Switch, 1 NO/1 NC, IP67, Metal Housing

This limit switch is a Compact actuator device designed for industrial control and position sensing in automation, electrical and mechanical systems. It provides snap-action switching with both normally open and normally closed contacts, a roller-type actuator and conduit entry suited to panel or machine installation. The housing is manufactured from polymer and the unit is intended for indoor industrial environments where a sealed enclosure and frequent mechanical operation are required.

Use screw Terminals sized for 0.5 to 0.75mm² wires and ensure Terminal screws are tightened to 0.6 to 0.8 N·m to maintain electrical contact and the rated protection.

It meets impulse withstand voltages of 2.5 kV between same-polarity terminals and 4 kV between different polarities, providing resilience against transient overvoltages.

The device functions from −30 °C up to +70 °C when not subject to icing, allowing use across a wide range of industrial ambient conditions.

Do not use metal conduits or metal connectors

A direct-opening mechanism forcibly separates NC contacts to help prevent welded contact failure when contact deposits occur.
