Schmersal Light Curtain, Sender, 1930mm Protection Field Height - SLC440COM Series - SLC440COM-E-1930-30

Use this light curtain sender from Schmersal to keep your personnel safe around dangerous equipment. When combined with a receiver unit (146-5862), it forms a protective field that shuts down your machine when it detects movement for safe operation. Thanks to its 30mm beam resolution, the component senses body parts as small as a hand to give you effective operator protection. The unit has a maximum reaction time of just 28ms, so it quickly deactivates your hardware when tripped.

Features & Benefits

• Certified by EN IEC 62061 standards for electrical control components

• Wide protection range between 300 and 6,000mm for versatility

• IP67 rating indicates full protection against dust and submersion in 1m of water for up to 30 minutes

Applications

• Packaging lines

• Food processing

• Machining systems

• Logistics industry

What's beam resolution, and how does it affect my light curtain system?

Beam resolution refers to the space between the light curtain's infrared lasers. A smaller distance between beams means the sender can detect smaller objects, giving you a more sensitive safety device.
