The ENDRESS+HAUSER switching unit designed for point level detection in liquid tanks, bulk material silos, and hazardous explosion areas. It can also be used for liquid detection in pipes to prevent dry running in pumps and overfilling in tanks. With a functional safety rating of up to SIL3, this switching unit ensures reliable and safe operation. It features an intrinsically safe signal circuit for connecting to Liquiphant or Soliphant sensors. It is suitable for applications in the food and beverage, water and wastewater, oil and gas, chemical, power and energy, mining, minerals and metals, and utilities industries.
